The Health Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022. The strength of the Health Center lies in the strong foundation set by its founders, the vision and expertise of its Board of Directors, the sense of ownership by its staff, patients and community, the years of service and commitment of its management team, and the relationships forged at the community, state and national level.

In Native Hawaiian culture, the body, mind and spirit are viewed as one. This concept of the body, mind and spirit being closely connected has guided the Health Center in its growth over the last 48 years and will continue in the years ahead. The Health Center is and always will be a community-driven effort to mālama (care for) everyone in the community particularly those who need care the most. Help is always needed so we can help those most in need.
