This 8-month, hands-on program combines online learning with in-clinic experience at WCCHC to prepare students for meaningful careers in primary care. Application closes on November 19, 2025

The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) is proud to partner with the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA) to offer hands-on training for the next generation of medical assistants. As Hawai‘i’s only NIMAA training site, WCCHC provides students with a unique opportunity to learn while serving our community.
Program Highlights

- Hybrid Learning: Weekly online coursework paired with in-clinic learning at WCCHC.
