At Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC), we are committed to continuously improving the care and services we provide to our patients and community.
WCCHC is now using Epic, our new electronic health record (EHR), and MyChart, our new secure patient portal.
This important transition strengthens care coordination, improves access to health information, and enhances the overall patient experience across our health center.
Why WCCHC Transitioned to Epic & MyChart?
Our patients are the driving force behind this transition.
Epic is the leading electronic health record system & MyChart is the leading patient portal in Hawaiʻi and across the nation. By implementing Epic and MyChart, WCCHC is creating a more connected healthcare experience that allows providers and care teams to securely access and share health information, improving communication, coordination, and continuity of care.
This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for the communities we serve.
What’s New for Patients
As part of our transition to Epic and MyChart, you will notice a few changes during your visit:
- Epic is now our electronic health record (EHR) system used by your care team.
- MyChart is now our secure online patient portal, where you can access your health information and communicate with your care team.
- You may be asked to verify or update your personal information during registration.
- Some forms, check-in, and registration processes may look different than before.

While our technology has changed, our commitment to you remains the same.
You can continue to expect:
- The same trusted healthcare providers
- The same clinic staff and care teams
- The same WCCHC clinic locations
- The same process for scheduling appointments
- The same commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care
Get Started with MyChart
MyChart is WCCHC's secure online patient portal that allows you to:
- View portions of your medical record
- Communicate securely with your care team
- View upcoming appointments
- Access test results
- Request prescription refills
- Pay your bill online
- Join video visits
- Manage your healthcare information anytime, anywhere
You can enroll by:
- Asking a member of your care team for an activation code during your visit, or

Completing the online self-registration process at this link.
- Please note: If you choose to self-register, the contact information you enter must exactly match the information in your electronic health record to complete registration successfully.
Accessing Your Previous Medical Records
Your medical information remains secure and accessible.
Medical Records Through July 13, 2026
Visits and medical records dated July 13, 2026, and earlier remain securely stored in NextGen, WCCHC's previous electronic health record.
If you need copies of these records, our Medical Records Department can assist you. Simply complete a Release of Information (ROI) request by visiting our Medical Records page or call (808) 697-3681.
Medical Records Beginning July 14, 2026
Visits and medical records dated July 14, 2026, and later are available in MyChart, making it easier to access your current health information online.
The following information has been transferred to MyChart and is available through your new patient portal:
- Problem List
- Allergies
- Medications
- Immunizations
We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible while ensuring you continue to have secure access to the health information that supports your care.
