At the Waiʻanae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC), we are committed to continuously improving the care and services we provide to our patients and community.
On July 14, 2026, WCCHC will transition to a new electronic health record system called EPIC and a new patient portal called MyChart.
This important transition will help strengthen coordination of care, improve access to health information, and enhance the patient experience across our health center.
Why Is WCCHC Transitioning to a New Electronic Health Record & Patient Portal?
Our patients are the driving force behind this transition.
Epic is the largest electronic health record system in Hawaiʻi and across the nation. Moving to Epic and MyChart will help create a more connected and seamless healthcare
experience by allowing healthcare providers to securely access and share important health information more efficiently.
This transition supports WCCHC’s commitment to providing comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered care for our community.
What Is Changing?
Beginning July 14, 2026:
- WCCHC will begin using a new electronic health record system called Epic
- WCCHC will launch a new patient portal called MyChart
- Your health information will now be documented and managed in Epic
- Some forms, workflows, and appointment processes may look different during your visit
What Is Staying the Same?
While our technology is changing, our commitment to you is not. The following will remain the same:
- Your healthcare provider
- Your clinic staff and care teams
- Your clinic locations
- How you schedule appointments
- WCCHC’s mission and commitment to serving our community with compassionate, high-quality care
What Do Patients Need To Do?
Sign Up for MyChart
MyChart is WCCHC’s new secure online patient portal that allows patients to:
- View portions of their medical record
- Communicate with their care team
- View appointments
- Access test results
- Manage healthcare information online
What Happens to My Previous Medical Records?
Your previous health information will remain accessible to your care team as needed to support your ongoing care.
WCCHC is working carefully to ensure important medical information remains available throughout this transition. Additional
details regarding historical records and patient access will be shared as they become available
