New federal Medicaid requirements were signed into law on July 4, 2025, and may affect your Medicaid coverage beginning in 2027.

Med-QUEST (Hawaiʻi's Medicaid program) is currently reviewing these changes and how they may impact Hawaiʻi's Medicaid program.

Your Medicaid coverage remains unchanged at this time. More information will be shared as it becomes available.

To ensure you receive important updates about your coverage, please keep your mailing address, phone number, and email address up to date with Med-QUEST and your healthcare provider.

  • 1 Schedule & Keep your healthcare appointments.
  • 2 Pick up your prescribed medications.
  • 3 Make sure your contact information is up to date so you don't miss any important letters or notices.
If there are any changes to your coverage, Med-QUEST will contact you ahead of time.
